Who We Are
The National Consortium of Colleges (NCC), since it was established in June 2001,
has focused on encouraging widespread workforce development through blended/distance learning.
Supported by Colleges of Further Education, the NCC to date has engaged with over 15,000 employers, delivering quality training to over 450,000 learners.
The focused goals of the consortium are to:
1. Act as a single body and represent the interests of members with national bodies
2. Encourage collaboration between member colleges
3. Share and communicate best practice
4. Maintain and improve standards for audit purposes
5. Share knowledge and products
6. Offer a national delivery capability
Much of this has come to fruition; however with the continuing focus on the skills agenda through enhanced employer engagement and contestability opportunities, we continue to work towards meeting our goals and achieving the very best for our members.
